Analisis Potensi Wilayah Kecamatan Depok Berbasis Komoditi Industri Meubel Melalui Pendekatan Location Quotient

Abstract

The manufacturing sector is one sector which is very important in people's economic livelihoods Depok. Processing industry sector's contribution to the economic development of society Depok showed a significant contribution. The districts Depok there are several types of industries. As the industry knows, the natural stone industry, industrial woven bamboo, soybean industry and furniture industry. However, among the processing industry in Depok, the furniture industry is an industry that is the largest in number and most in employment as a livelihood in society Depok. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the furniture industry on employment in the district of Depok, then what are the factors inhibiting and supporting the development of furniture industry in Depok. The analysis method used in this research is descriptive quantitative analysis method of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the analysis showed that the Location Quotient Depok processing industry in the sectors most bases among the nine existing sectors.
