Abstrak

This research aims to analyze the bibliometric characteristics of literature on zakat and blockchain research to provide a comprehensive overview of research trends, existing contributions, and identify potential knowledge gaps in the application of zakat in blockchain technology. The data used in this study are secondary data indexed on Google Scholar. The method employed is descriptive quantitative with bibliometric analysis and content analysis. The research results indicate that the most productive year is 2023. The productivity of zakat blockchain research based on the most prolific journal includes articles with the theme "Blockchain zakat" in the Journal of Munich Personal RePEc Archive (65). The most prolific authors are O Ismailov, S Kassim, SM Nor, D Rejeb, MF Ibrahim, dan Z Zulfikri (2), and the most cited author in zakat blockchain research is D Rejeb (23) and (2) titles. The most productive country is Indonesia (18), and the most productive institution is University Kebangsaan Malaysia (4). The research topic trends based on keywords are visualized using three display options: network visualization, overlay visualization, and density visualization. Based on the investigation results, there are at least 10 topics related to zakat blockchain that need further examination.
